Google Your Families

If you live in a society where last name define who's your closest relatives. If you have only 4 to 10 families, it easy to remember where they live. But when you have more than 10 plus than that's big of a hassle. Since, I always have problem remember who lives where and how to get there. I decide to create myself a mini google map to help serve my memory.

Don't worry, I did move the symbol away from actual house for security purpose, only me know exactly where they live. Click

First Map

It happen about 8 years ago when I was in the Cartography Lab my advisor approached me and ask me for a favorite
and I almost pass onto other student. But, I insisted to take the challenge, simple enough, he asks me to make a map.
I accept the project and later he told me, I'm going to be pay for doing it. Then came a big smile on my face,
I silently said wow! really for 20 dollars making this map. I almost jump up and down, turning around but I didn't.


I was very excite about this map, because it was my first map that I actually
get paid for making it while still studying and day dreams about how wonderful
life is after college and how much student loan I'm going to own.

I even more excited when my advisor told me it's going to be insert
into a historical book that written by a history professor. Don't ask, because I don't know
what is the title of his book, all I know is that the book is published and it's out there
some where in the libraries or book stores.

Hmong Annaul Soccer Tournament

If you wonder how's the Soccer Tournament Ground looks like, here's your chance. Oh! and the area has been redesign with three beautiful turf grass fields in 2007 (I think).

This area will be full of Hmong people coming all round the world. Can you really believe that they came all over the continents to meet at this corner of the world. I think so too.
